THIS BEER SHOULD BE ENJOYED BY HARDY SOULS, NEXT TO A FIRE, WHILST STROKING AN IRISH WOLFHOUND
...OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
The Cuban gets its name from the tobacco, cigar box and leather funk delivered by brettanomyces (wild yeast). This is backed up by red wine, vanillins, tannins and sweet oak character, each of these showing at varying levels as the beer warms. All of this is dished up on the base of a smooth imperial stout with a firm bitterness
